House Kitchen & Bar was created by chef/owner Chris Nestor, after having a vision and seeing it come to fruition with his [+]other Sacramento restaurant, Ink Eats & Drinks. This time around, he was driven to create an entirely different atmosphere and concept: classic comfort food in an upscale, yet casual, environment.

His passion for great food and impeccable service is evident. The staff at House Kitchen & Bar have been working diligently since January 2010 to please all of their guests, and to ensure that every taste bud and expectation is satiated and exceeded.

Our goal is to create classic comfort food with a contemporary twist, while exceeding the service expectations of all of our guests. We truly want everyone to feel as if they are a guest in our "house".
