If you have any interest in history, you already know [+]that Abraham Lincoln was a very vocal opponent of the Mexican-American War. Mexico later honored Lincoln by creating a statue in his likeness. As it turns out, we’re also big fans of Abraham Lincoln!… And tequila. And tacos. And beer. And sunsets. Since we couldn’t build a statue in honor of “Honest Abeâ€, we were left with no choice but to open the best rooftop bar in Pacific Beach and combine all of our passions into one awesome location!
Our rooftop overlooks Pacific Beach. Our gourmet tacos are made with fresh, local ingredients and served in house-made tortillas. Our bar features a large selection of tequilas, with 18 beers on tap. We have 24 HD TVs and a giant projection screen. There’s no place on the boardwalk like us. Our bar was built on the concept of Dia de los Muertos. Combine all of these elements, and El Prez is where to drink, where to eat and where to party in San Diego!
The accolades have been pouring in. We’ve been labeled best rooftop bar, best place to take a photo with a fake donkey, best excuse to miss work tomorrow, #1 spot to eat tacos while getting a tan, best ratio of string bikinis to microkinis and, most importantly, one of San Diego’s greatest attractions!
