In 1980 the first Rosine’s Restaurant was opened by Jim and Rosine Culcasi and their four children, in Monterey, California. The restaurant was an instant success and all the family shared in the work, from cooking and baking to serving and greeting. Rosine’s established a reputation with satisfied customers who enjoyed the delicious homemade soups. Hearty meals and homemade fresh fruit pies and a sumptuous array of delicious, homemade, award-winning cakes.
After five year, they relocated to the current location in downtown Monterey. Rosine’s continues a fine tradition of homemade food, generous servings, daily specials and desserts.
