Kofo Domingo - Executive Chef / Owner
Kofo realized her passion was food as an 8-year-old helping in her mothers’ kitchen in Lagos, Nigeria. She often found herself regaled by stories about how her mother helped plan awe inspiring colorful meals for stately dinners. Kofo’s goal is to blend uniquely West-African flavors and cooking techniques with traditional English and American fare.
In the last 15 years Kofo, who holds an MBA degree, honed her skills as a businesswoman managing her husband’s business and working in various capacities in the public sector. She also used those years to polish her culinary skills and create the recipes that today make up the menu at Lagosia.
Her variety of skills will serve her well, as she realizes her dream of bringing uniquely West-African cuisine to diners in the Bay Area. Lagosia is committed to providing West African immigrants and Bay area residents alike with an establishment that brings together traditional West African values of community and family, along with great tasting food. |
