The restaurant's owner Dororthee Mitrani-Bell, and graduate from UC Berkeley's environment design program (1994), won an award in excellence in 1998 for "Outstanding Storefront Improvements" and rehabilitation of it's beautiful 1875 building. The stunning interior patio is open seasonally.
